I’m a data scientist with over a decade of experience in financial services. I’m now primarily focused on solving problems with code, analytics, and AI. My background as a general securities principal means I understand complex financial data and high-stakes decision-making. After 10+ years in the industry, I pivoted to tech, earning an M.S. in Business Data Analytics and immersing myself in programming to turn raw data into actionable insights.
I specialize in R, Python, and SQL, leveraging frameworks like the R tidyverse (Shiny, Quarto) and Python’s pandas and scikit-learn to build everything from interactive dashboards to machine learning models. I’m also leveraging generative AI with tools such as OpenAI’s API and LangChain, and I have hands-on experience containerizing applications with Docker and deploying solutions on AWS. Whether designing a predictive model or automating a data pipeline, I love using technology to make work more innovative and efficient.
